Following the example of "adult" KROSS bike models, we created the KROSS Lea JR 1.0. This is a recreational children's mountain bike that will be perfect both for commuting to school and for weekend family trips outside the city. The KROSS Lea JR 1.0 is an adult technical solution enclosed in a smaller frame adapted to children's height.
The KROSS Lea JR 1.0 bike is equipped with a 1x8 drive system. This will allow you to efficiently overcome climbs and ride quickly on flat sections. The rear derailleur from Shimano is a durable and proven design that ensures smooth gear changes.
V-brakes are responsible for reliable and predictable braking, which offer high braking force regardless of the current weather conditions. They are lighter, much simpler and cheaper to use than disc brakes, and can also effectively stop the bike.
The KROSS Lea JR 1.0 frame is made of 6061 aluminum. This special aluminum alloy makes the bike stiff and resistant to breakage. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many a cyclist with its properties. The frame is powder coated, which translates into the durability of the paint and the resistance of the paint to mechanical damage.
When designing the frame, we decided to equip it with internal cable routing. Thanks to this, we made the bike look aesthetically pleasing and neat. This cable routing system also allowed us to reduce the risk of cable breakage while riding off-road. The rigid fork ensures the bike's low weight and has a positive effect on control and stability while riding.
